A good but unrelated example: cable television companies forcing you to purchase a whole lot of channels you don't want (and will never watch) in order to get channels (or even service) you do want.

When you are in a hole, stop digging. Your examples are getting nuttier by the minute. A man paying for maternity insurance coverage is not at all like buying cable channels. When you buy a cable package, you have the option to utilize any or all of the channels for which you have paid. Unless a man grows a uterus, he will never have the need or desire to utilize maternity services.

Did you know that a doctor who delivers a baby is RESPONSIBLE for that child and CAN BE SUED up to the time the child turns 18????????? THAT is why it is so damned expensive!!!! The doctor has to pay HUGE PREMIUMS because PARENTS SUE up til the child turns 18!!!!! It’s CRAZY!!!
