She enjoyed dressing as MM .... we had to go to a second costume shop to find the blonde wig.

The Seven Year Itch was a cute movie. Movies used to be cute but I haven’t been to a movie forever. ooops ... take that back, I took Marissa and a friend to a couple of animated movies. Can’t remember the names except one was an Alvin and the Chipmunks film.

I can hardly believe that she will be 14 next month.

Now if only I can survive the next 3 or so years. :)

She is such a social person that she keeps me running. BUT, I’ll keep her. LOL

I’m doing good...PT is helping to strengthen my injured “wing” after surgery. I have to get strong. Back to work on the 22nd! :)

I also loved Marilyn in “Some Like It Hot”.

Both “The Seven Year itch” and “Some Like It Hot” were a little “Fresh” and addressed adult themes, but they were NEVER “dirty”.

Marissa gets ‘too’ much of the adult stuff; but when I showed her pictures that I found on Google, she said, “She looks kinda cheap”.

Hey ... at least she knows how she does not want to look, but she did enjoy dressing up as Marilyn and everyone at school recognized her. First year she hasn’t been a witch, a vampire, a tiger, a fairy or a princess. :~)

My Grandpa, a HUGH Baseball fan, was more excited about Joltin’ Joe.

I can imagine. Joe was a big deal ... I always liked him and I thought that he was a good influence on Marilyn. I think he really loved her instead of just using her.

He loved her a LOT...but he couldn’t deal with her “Image”. The scene in The “Seven Year Itch” with the subway grate was the last straw, unfortunately.
