We had a rooster wander into our suburban yard a few years back.We named him Speedy, next to impossible to catch. Cocky little fellow, would crow every morning. Sometimes I’d see him strutting back down the street back to our yard like he’d had a night on the town.
Good luck. They are pretty hardy.

My brother-in-law says he nearly hit a deer. For you city folk a deer is like a really big chicken.

When I first went to work at my last hospital job, we had a feral ‘parking lot hen’. She lived in the shrubbery, and huned bugs in the landscaping. Her official name was Penny Cillin. After few years, she simply vanished.
