Veterans Day gives us an opportunity to reflect on our freedom and the brave men and women who fought for it. But what do we think of when a veteran comes to mind? Perhaps many of us think of a highly trained fighter, ready to battle the enemy at a moment's notice. While that may be true, Cheezburger is here to show you there's a softer, more cuddly side to these soldiers too!

Just so you know: I have signed up to foster some military critters. I have offered to take a dog and at least one bird, since I have the cage room.
It seems the least I can do to thank a Vet!! Vets ROCK!
And if you served, Sir, thank you so much! *hug*
Wonderful collection of kitties taking over the world!

I did not have the privilege of serving, but I honor those who do.
I thought they already ran the world. (Great pix!)
They already took over my daughter’s household and by Thanksgiving the two palm-size kitties will MAUL my veteran kitty by running circles around in what’s supposed to be a FRIENDLY get-together!
Cameras and videos of the coming encounter are being readied!
After my last deployment, the cats wouldn’t let me get more than 5 feet away from them before they would trot up and demand to be loved.
But then, a week after I got home, I went to visit the in-laws for the weekend in another state. When I got home, the girls had puked on my weight bench, knocked my framed picture off the desk and broken it, and shredded my favorite pair of underwear that I had accidentally left behind when I was packing.
For the record, they never puke on aything, break stuff, or even touch our clothes. I think that was their way of telling me that they didn’t like me going away again after having already been gone. Kind of cute, in a way that only a cat owner can appreciate.
Looking forward to them.
Cats can be very expressive in their way.
Goggie is teaching the enemy to play dead.
Who says real men don’t love catz??
Love this!
God bless you for doing that, Monkey Face.
+1
