It is 95 degrees here. It was 95 yesterday. It will be 95 tomorrow. It will be 95 most EVERY day, even on Christmas.:P

As I so much wanted to ask a whacked out GW customer I had to deal with one bitter cold winter day; what part of “global” and “warming” aren’t you putting together?

“This summer was very mild even though we had solar maximum. 45 year record low for US hurricanes. Also a low Tornado activity year, even though we lost a few storm chasers at the beginning. So we have atmospheric energy being assimilated into an ongoing cooling period. Expect some nasty winter storms. Big time winds. Lots of snow.”

It is the solar max, but it is a very low one...the lowest for around 200 years.

The sun is going into an extended minimum, which I think will lead to another period like the Little Ice Age. People will be wishing for some good ol’ global warming in a couple of decades...IMO of course. :-)

(I also wonder if folks realize that if CO2 does in fact cause sufficient warming, we might stave off the next Ice Age, which would be a HUGE win for humanity...)

It’s gonna be a cold one this year. I can deal with it just as long as we don’t get the snow too..........

I’d rather have the snow.

It was 85 degrees in Laguna Beach yesterday. Today we’re shivering. It’s 65 and overcast. If the sun doesn’t break through these clouds soon I may not make it through the day.
