Bingo I always thought he is a closet conservative. Remember Mark in his younger days had a reputation as a bad boy. But now, when his girlfriend got pregnant he got married and now I believe they have 2 kids. He has settle down a lot. Your right I think as he is growing older he is becoming more conservative. I believe he stated he is Pro Life also. I say good for him.
I always watch Shooter when it is on. A bit over the top in the story line but the sniper activities are top notch and Kate Mara is not hard to look at either. Watched Wahberg in “the yards” the other night too.
Frankly I don’t like very many actors but I think this guy is not in my hate group even if he is from Boston.
Wahlberg is the Anti-Damon.
I’ve spend a lot of time not liking “Marky Mark”. Now he’s trying to ruin all that by saying things I agree with.
Dammit.
Funny, during the movie the other night, there was a trivia question: whom is Walberg sometimes confused with being? Answer was Damon. Definitely seem like the anti matter of each other.
I only watched Shooter because I knew Danny Glover was gonna get capped.
By the way, Ned Beatty could not act his way out of a wet paper bag in that movie.
Glover murdered him in every scene.
Wahlberg contributed to the Presidential campaigns of Obama in both ‘08 and ‘12. How much “slack” do you cut to stupid like that?
I don’t cut any “slack” to the people I know personally who did that. I make them remember their stupidity every chance I get and I don’t care if they get upset. They need to learn.
Tim Cruise as Jack Reacher...that was a huge Hollywood joke for me this year.
Even a blind squirrel finds a nut occasionally. Marky Mark is a big, gun grabbing, liberal. Don’t be swayed by a little tough talk. He would gladly turn your ass in for having a firearm, whilst keeping his Hollywood, armed security.
The only movie I ever saw that followed the book was “the godfather”. I think the author had input into the movie. Saw nothing in the movie that wasn’t in the book.(that I can remember)
It was way worse than nutcase Cruise. Wahlberg was making implications about bravery and intelligence of the people on the flight.
Wahlberg was going to find some place to land as well.
