I've seen wolves pass through a trail here from a front window, crossing the other side of a small ravine in the winter. The animal looks like it owns the place, almost looks groomed, not scruffy at all. Regal, totally aware, filled with confidence.
I'd hate to meet more than one out there........

Beau finally got a tag this season, but the only two he saw were beside the highway on the way Up Nort’.
He’s bummin’ that he didn’t get one - and that guy can track ANYTHING. I’m hoping for a Coyote Hat from him for Christmas. :)

My sister and brother in law had one waltz through their yard when they lived outside Waynesville, NC a few years ago. They have a Pyranees and the wolf was larger than their dog. They got a couple of pics of it. Large grey worlf.
