EUROPEAN COMMISSION DIRECTORATE-GENERAL FOR RESEARCH & INNOVATION PROVIDED STRONG CONFIRMATION OF LENR IN JULY 2012

• In a July 2012 report “Low energy reactions in condensed matter” LINK

– “ENEA, SRI and NRL have been involved within review programs in the US and in Italy. The main task was to demonstrate… the existence of the excess heat production. The target was achieved and the existence of the effect is no longer in doubt.“

• Recommendations to the Commission

– “Include LENR in FP7 calls as research on materials as it has unlimited and sustainable future energy technology potential.”

– “Support the study… to achieve the control of the technology.”

– “Focus on the fundamental research because of the synergy with other disciplines.”

OTHER COMPELLING SUPPORT FOR LENR

• “No doubt anomalous excess heat is produced in these experiments"

– DARPA, 2009 reported on 60 Minutes, “Cold Fusion is Hot Again”

– “An independent research thesis at the University of Texas at Austin found that from 1989 to 2010 more than 180 experiments around the world reported anomalous high production of excess heat in Pd/D or Ni/H.”

– National Instruments, July 2012

– “Very careful work at two national laboratories, namely the Naval Research Laboratory in the United States, and at ENEA, the National Energy Laboratory of Italy, and at many other laboratories around the world, clearly indicate that these extreme ‘excess’ heat releases are in fact real, despite earlier claims to the contrary”

– Robert Duncan, Vice-Chancellor for Research, University of Missouri, 2012

• “I believe in analysis of new sources of energy. I believe in laboratories, looking at ways to conduct electricity with cold fusion” VIDEO

– Mitt Romney, December 2011, Washington Examiner.

PROFESSOR CELANI’S PORTABLE LENR DEMO - AUGUST 2012: 12-22W OUTPUT POWER GAIN CONTINUOUSLY FOR 4 DAYS. PERFORMED ON TWO CONTINENTS BACK TO BACK; MEASUREMENTS PERFORMED BY NATIONAL INSTRUMENTS

• In August 2012, Prof. Celani, along with National Instruments Engineers, successfully demoed an NI+H LENR reactor at ICCF. The demo was placed in the middle of S. Korea High Tech. Center and was open to public view. It was run from Tues morn 8/14 and was still running when I left late Fri 8/17 producing a steady 15-20W of excess power.

• All monitoring /measurements were performed by a National Instruments onsite engineer, who supplied all measuring equipment. The demo was also run successfully a week earlier at NIWeek in Austin, Texas in front of 2000 NI engineers with measurements performed by 3 NI provided engineers.

• The Celani reactor was recently verified by STMicroelectronics (LINK) and is considered to be one of the best, simplest, and most conclusive demos of LENR to date.

• The non-profit group Martin Fleischmann Memorial Project is working with Prof Celani to openly demonstrate and distribute the demos worldwide, please see www.quantumheat.org

Of course the environ(Lack of)mental(capacity) movement will not like any such energy producing process that actually makes people’s lives better.

I can’t wait to read how they say it is unsafe because;
1. It’s nuclear it has to be dangerous
2. It comes from the corporate establishment
3. It’s Bush’s fault
4. Women and children harmed the most

Yup, me too.

Those who think LENR is overstated should:

A) read this presentation with an open mind, and

B) remember Amara’s Law: “We tend to overestimate the effect of a technology in the short run and underestimate the effect in the long run.”

Tch, tch, tch. But these are all charlatans, don't y'know. Selling technology that doesn't exist.

Seriously.....that looks like a pretty complete list of the commercial efforts under way that I knew about. Of course, for each one of those, there are probably two or three others running under total blackout.

I like how Jed Rothwell looks at the technological imperative. Basically, if the enviroweenies slow down Cold Fusion in the USA, other countries will be happy to fill the void and walk right past us.

-———www.mail-archive.com/vortex-l@eskimo.com/msg86809.html——————

I recall a story about Henry Ford and Charles Kettering. Kettering invented
the automobile self-starter, which replaced the hand-crank. Ford said to
him, “I am not going to equip my cars with these. I’ll stick with the hand
crank.” Kettering replied: “You will equip your cars with self-starters. It
isn’t your choice.” He meant it was a technological imperative. No law was
needed to enforce this. No one “decided” that all cars would have
self-starters. Once the technology was invented, nothing could stop it from
replacing the hand-crank. Henry Ford was the most powerful man in the
automotive industry, but he could no more stop the self-starter than a
new-hire assembly line worker could have. Anyone who wanted to stay in the
automobile industry had to use it.

The same is true of every other major inventions. No person and no
institution could have “stopped” or “slowed down” personal computers after
1980, or the Internet after 1990, or — if Rossi or someone else ever
introduces it — a practical form of cold fusion sometime in the future. It
will not be something you can “opt out of.” You will have no choice,
because no other source of energy will be available. The oil companies and
wind-turbine makers will go bankrupt.

Hi Kevmo,

I’m on the ping list, and I try to read the articles when I have the time.

You seem to be keeping up with this pretty well, and the ping list is much appreciated. If you have the time, I wonder if you could give a quick summary of where the technology is right now, and what the next steps will likely be towards it becoming more widespread.

Cool. We’re all waiting for a commercial LENR box to crank up and start generating power.

You can buy a license to build a LENR device. You can buy distribution rights for LENR devices. You can buy shares in companies claiming they can or are building LENR devices. One thing you can't do is buy a working LENR device that produces usable energy.

You mean with ALL these demonstrations and “highly successful” tests under the watchful eyes of scientists no one has been able to use those plans to build a simple working model?

But the patents, the secret factories, the shipping containers shipped......Check the spare parts bin, there might be some lenr in there somewhere.

"You mean with ALL these demonstrations and “highly successful” tests under the watchful eyes of scientists no one has been able to use those plans to build a simple working model?"

Define "simple working model".

There have been several "simple working models" of small-scale devices. One was demonstrated at MIT as part of a short course, was tested by the attendees at the short course, was shown in tests by the attendees to have a COP of 14, was allowed to run for months after the short course, during which time it was open to the public, and was totally ignored.

NO MIT physicist deigned to look at it during that time.

See "Nanor" "Mitchel Schwartz"
