An honest question to Jews.... in my scripture ‘Jesus’ celebrated the feast of dedication in the winter..... since they didn’t have smart phones or the Gregorian calendar back then, wouldn’t the sun ( and what we now call solstice) would detail the season of winter?

Wouldn’t this still be fall? Was passover celebrated in spring or winter this year(according to the sun)

I’m not a Jew, but I think I can answer this one. In the Hebrew calendar, Hanukkah begins on the 25 of the month of Kislev. This month corresponds with our November-December, depending on the year.
