Although Black Friday is known for mall parking lots filled to capacity, Wal-Mart lines that stretch for days, and 10 AM traffic that looks a lot like rush hour, don't forget that it's also a day when gun stores sell guns cheap--and ammo to match.
For example, Shooters Supply in Louisville, KY is selling Smith & Wesson M&P15-22 rifles for $299.99. When Breitbart News reviewed this particular rifle on October 13th, the best price we could find for it was $499.99.

Agree 100% about Midway USA. No finer company than them exists for standing up for the 2A.
Even if the prices were higher there, I would still rather give my money to true Pro-2A companies than ones which will stab you in the back, like Dick’s Sporting Goods.....Dick’s will never get another dime from me.
The ammo situation will not be improving. Though supply is finally catching up with demand, prices will continue to climb, and spot shortages will occur due to panic buying and hoarding. You may want to consider a little more diversity in your armory. During the worst of the ammo famine, .38 Special was unavailable anywhere in my former neck of the woods for over a year. When .38 Special did start coming back, many vendors were selling it for nearly $40 for a box of 25 rounds. Limit of 2 per customer.
