And rightfully so. Having lived in the Bay Area for over a decade, I'm pretty broadminded but a lot of the gay men cruising for sex at a popular location where a lot of them hang out for pubic sex are seriously creepy, disgusting and often pretty scary
Ray Stevens??
LOL
Gee, sex at a place where people aren’t wearing any clothes. Who’da thunk it?
It is infuriating, and demonstrates, once again, the animal that liberalism is.
There are three aspects to this story that are noteworthy and illustrative.
First thing that stood out and hit me squarely in the nose was “Nude State Beach”. WTF? I have no problem with people running a nude beach on private property. That has been going on for years, and as long as the public isn’t forced to pay for it or be subjected to it, that is their business. But public? Paid for by taxpayers? On public land? It boggles my mind. But hey...I live in Massachusetts, so I have seen stuff like this before.
The second aspect that just defines liberalism, and is expressed in this situation is highlighted by comments at the article such as: “Sex is natural. What is wrong with people having sex? The government has to control everything, including our genitals!” Etc. etc. etc. This is the ESSENCE of liberalism. In their minds, people are animals, and are slaves to their passions. They believe that passions cannot be controlled, and as a result, any kind of behavior is acceptable. They have no choice in the matter. Since they have no choice in the matter, it must not only be condoned, but approved and accommodated. This is typical liberalism. You see it from liberals primarily relating to drug related behavior and sex related behavior. The comments at the site buttress this: “Why not just set up tents for people to have sex in?” I have actually heard liberals say (about two twelve year olds having sex) that they cannot help themselves, it is what comes naturally to people, why not provide them a place to do it safely with readily available condoms? Everything from pre-marital teen sex to providing needles to drug addicts.
The third thing is, and we on FR are all aware of this by default, is the way that this story is being reported. If you read this story, you would get the impression that these are normal male/female couplings occurring on this beach. What is deliberately NOT being reported is that this is not only a primary, but almost exclusively a homosexual sex issue, primarily with men. From reading the comments by people claiming to be locals, they are infuriated because that is what they see, and is not what the story implies by its omission of the homosexual angle.
We see this all the time in media stories ranging from black on white violence, Democrat politician misbehavior, and homosexual crime. This is simply appalling. But it is “normal” life in this country now, the way things are conducted.
See my post at #25. It is a state owned nude beach, paid for with state dollars on state land. If it was a private location most people would be inclined to say it was between them, the private owner of the beach, and God (as long as it wasn’t in full view of the public)
It appears to be nothing of the sort on all counts.
I cannot confirm it, but my first inclination was to think it was a queer sex location. Normal heterosexual people don’t act like this year-round (e.g., spring break or something like that might be an exception).
That is correct. Years ago this spot on the Wisconsin river was a meeting place for all of the truly unattractive gubmint workers in Dane county to frolic(both M/F), but over past 10 yrs nothing but a place for sodomites. My brothers and I used to canoe past area when we were younger thinking that some hotty UW coeds would be there only to be shocked to see very unattractive overweight hags. What is seen cannot be unseen.
If only all A-Rabs were more like A-Hab.
Me too. We used to canoe the Wisconsin river and camp on the sand bars. The nude beach was always a spot we made sure to get close to, but almost always were disappointed. That was back in the lat 70's and early 80's.
