Rather than allow Mastracchio, 53, to wear that suit again, astronauts are planning to work on resizing a spare spacesuit aboard the ISS for him on his next spacewalk to complete the ammonia pump module replacement

NASA doesn’t have the funds to replace 35 year old space suits that our astronauts depend on for survival but has the money for muslim outreach. All praise the great wiseass obamaramadingdong for having his priorities in order.

On Christmas Day, and some days after, they’ll be a few especially good passes over New York, and I would guess surrounding areas as well.

I’m sorry, this is getting absurd. Those suit designs cost millions of dollars each and have been used many times over many years. Now they’re filling up with water when repairs are needed? I smell a rat.

Hmmm - Atlantis was retired more than two years ago.
If I were suddenly to find myself floating around umpty-thousand miles out in space, there’d be water in my space suit, too, and it wouldn’t be sweat!

Yeah, I just saw that. However, it still works and will give you valid, up-to-date visible ISS passes in your area. I’ve doublechecked it at another source for ISS passes. It’s only that text that is out of date. The other site isn’t so easy to use. This one is relatively simple. Try it and see.
I’ve been using some very good night vision equipment lately, and when I get bored I point it at the sky. It never takes more than 30 seconds to find at least one satellite passing over.
“Fruit Loops” Wollowitz could probably fix the suits.
