WASHINGTON TWP., Pa. (EYT) - Two men are facing charges following an incident at a bar in Fryburg early Saturday morning.
Clarion-based State Police say the incident happened around 12:30 a.m. at a bar along Route 208 in Fryburg when 37-year-old Shawn M. Jay (pictured right), of New Bethlehem, allegedly punched a 25-year-old Shippenville man in the face.
While Jay and another man, 24-year-old Robert Buddy Myers (pictured left), were being escorted out of the bar, Myers allegedly struck the victim in the head with a beer bottle.
Police say the victim later attempted to leave the bar and Jay and Myers were outside, at which point Myers allegedly grabbed a chainsaw from the bed of a truck, started it, and began to come after the victim.
The incident ended when victim drew his handgun and instructed Myers to leave him alone.
According to court documents, charges have not yet been filed against either man.
