Starbucks secret is a “sh-t load of sugar” in a flavored coffee for about 3 bucks. I like it but do the same in my home for less that 25 cents. I salute Starbucks for their innovation and free enterprise at it best. Just remember, it is a lot of sugar and flavor and coffee.
It might if you're having a cup of house blend and the guy behind you is picking up 5 lattes and biscuits for his office.
So how does this work exactly? How do you know what the person behind you is going to order?
Do you roast by chance?
How do you make your coffee? Do you like press or percolate? Just curious. I'd recommend using a press.
God gave us coffee because he loves us and wants us to be wide awake to appreciate it. ; )
Some of the best coffee I’ve ever had was boiled in a pan at high altitude with a handful of snow to settle the grounds ...
Yeah, Armistead - Life’s too damn short so why not gets AIDS and make it even shorter? Stupid queer.
That next coffee could be a $1.50 “short black” or a $5.95 “venti caramel brûlée holiday blend with extra whipped cream” ... or both, plus two kid’s hot chocolates @ $1.45 each (if my family is in that next car).
Wow, sounds good!
“Im a early morning dark roast drip or French press kind of guy.”
Mmmm! ... You have excellent taste! I’m dedicated to a daily intake of 4 shots of espresso over ice or several hot cups made in the French press. Starbucks knows me so well they only ask, “Hot or cold?” when I enter. :)
That’s what I’ve always wondered. What if one guy on a budget is going in for his once a month coffee splurge, and the car in front is buying for a staff meeting..So the poor guy is a jerk for breaking the chain?
I just grind and drip it.
Have had it pressed and prefer that though.
Can’t help with the roasting, but it doesn’t seem too hard. Domeday I’ll give it a try.
