Our school district was off for two weeks, they aren’t scheduled back til Monday.
Oh, you’ll like this.,,last nite, my 95 year old Mil’s cardiologist kept ringing the dang phone. To cancel, they could have left a message. On the 4th time around I made spouse answer, thinking OMG, did some test come up bad?
No. Just a cancel.
I wanted to kill someone.
Ours went back yesterday.lol.
It is more than 24 hours...you could cancel....
Imagine if we had a press with an iota of curiosity in this country.
You-hoo-ooo-hooo, you may say I’m a dreamer.
I’d settle for honesty.
In a trial, taking an abstruse angle may make you convicts ....

But tou’re not the only one....
I have to say after spending two different cold spells at my Mother’s home last month, complete with ice on the roads, I’m enjoying my Houston winter more this year. We romanticized the snowy conditions in PA and other than shoveling, sort of missed the pretty snowfalls.....but I’m over that now. It is 46 degrees here, which is pretty cold for us but the sun is shining and a light jacket will suffice today. ;^)
It’s not even the snow that is the worst, it’s the bitter cold.
It was 25 here this morning-but it doesn’t compare with the cold where you are-
Nothing Obama’s minions try
Is of any practical use-
The more they tinker with it

From tax rates to Obamacare,
It follows chapter and verse-
The more they tinker with it
The more they make it worse
The best thing for us to do
Is to stay in a safe place-
Just hide and watch and gloat
As it fails and they lose face...
Yes I agree - but where we were staying there is no way to clear the roads of ice so the panic that was going on reminded me of how it was growing up in that part of Texas - you never knew if you were going to be stuck at home for one day or four....
Just got out of the house for lunch, after 3 days of being cooped up it felt good. Cabin fever be gone!
DH did our driveway, then the elderly couple’s. Then he did the young family who borrowed our snow bird’s snow blower, but didn’t know how to use it. Then he did the snow bird’s driveway because their son, the comedian, is at the house without a snowblower. Then he did our friend’s house, she and her husband left for work without doing the drive, then he did the elderly woman’s house. Our neighbor said thanks already as she came home for lunch to do her’s and the woman’s as the woman is in the hospital and due home any day now. Then we found out while our neighbor is trapped in Nashville due to weather, his wife is stuck home alone. He did their driveway last. Then we went out to lunch. Phew. What a day he put in, he just left for work now.
Our new bishop is being installed live on EWTN right now.....I will be back later.
And it is perfectly dry here but very cold. Your spouse gets the prize for today. Maybe you can tell him how many people are dependent and grateful for his kindness so that is an even stronger reason to get treatment.
Dry...,so It’s safe to drive ;-)
