Families planning trips to one of Disneys theme parks can now get waterproof rubber wristbands embedded with computer chips in lieu of paper tickets. When scanned, the bands can act as a park entry ticket, a FastPass, a hotel room key and a credit card. The Magic Bands which are currently optional are part of a new MyMagic+ vacation management system that can track guests as they move throughout the park.

People with kids are going to want to have them, in case junior wanders off.
This is a good idea for people with children god forbid they get lost or kidnapped.
These should be implanted in the forehead and hand.
I guess your correct about the band getting cut off. Scary either way. I never took my kids there and I never will. I hate central Florida.
Indeed, when I was a child I often worried about my parents getting lost or kidnapped at theme parks.
Not surprising at all. I was educated in Catholic school in the 1970s and Revelation was introduced in 9th grade. By that time the Catholics were the only ones who had much religious education because attendance at Sunday schools was very sparse.
Disneyland used to have (maybe still does) a place for parents and lost kids to reunite, and the sign on the outside said "Lost Parents."

You got that right- I’m in Canada. The South is one of my favourite destinations- I have several friends in Augusta, GA. They know a *lot* more scripture than I ever picked up in school.
Don’t worry, it’ll be a good idea too when they put a chip on foreheads or right wrists too. It’s good for the kids and will prevent kidnapping among other things.
I pointed out this was already happening at European concert festivals and people said I was crazy to think this trend would ever come to America.
