While President Barack Obama is departing Hawaii late Saturday, Mrs. Obama is staying behind to spend time with friends ahead of her upcoming 50th birthday party. The White House says the extra time in the islands is part of Mrs. Obama’s birthday gift from the president.

Don't be too sure that many spouses and/or a relative or two didn't ACCOMPANY many of the staff members....with part or all expenses picked up by the taxpayers.
I'm waiting with bated breath to see the COMPLETE roster of all relatives, staff, friends, donors and hangers-on connected to Obama, connected to Moochelle, and connected to the daughters......who accompanied the royal family to the island paradise.
Plus, a complete line-item breakdown of the total cost of the junket to taxpayers.
Does anyone think we'll ever receive an honest accounting, really?

The last vaca I was on was to pick up a daughter from a mountain guide camp where she worked in Montana, and I allowed for time to drive up and back on the “Going to the Sun Road” in Glacier National Park.
That has to do for the next few years. I need to work to pay the taxes for the Obamas, because my ancestors were sinners of a certain color.
And remember, when the President flies in AF1, another duplicate follows him just in case the first one fails. So we have a fleet of jets for this asshat to put on his water wings.
