The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day.
I hate that they busted her. Becoming a fallen angel is punishment enough; why should mortals pile on?
Depends....do you consider our gender challenged class. Mates Angels?
to be true to the story I would have to see them nekkid with wings first.
Post 31. Lol
Man, if “Andrew Smiler” is a pen name, it’s sure not a cool one.
there is no end to the dreck that you manage to dredge up! LOL! and no, i have ZERO idea what it’s from.
So sad. It’s from Dogma, one of the Kevin Smith movies you bought two Christmases ago.
You are lucky that you are so depraved. i just found out today that my best friend is going to see an atty about either getting or girding herself against a divorce. Two docs, and he has a penchant for being nasty, so it will be ugly.
I know we are at a point in life when this kind of stuff happens. Kids start leaving the nest and you look at whom you are left with and if there is no emotional intimacy left [in there case there may have never been], you wonder about spending the rest of your life with the other person. I would venture to say that the lack of emotional intimacy may be even a greater cause of divorce than cheating, but then that does tend to go hand in hand i guess. No cheating on either part, in my friend’s case, but sad nonetheless.
hahahaha! forgot about those!
damn sad
it is, it’s heartbreaking to me. She has been my best friend for the past 50 years. We got married within 3 mo of each other 28 years ago. to be honest, i never saw what she saw in him. but it wasn’t until the past few months or so that she confided that things weren’t great and then i felt horrible, bc it didn’t surprise me at all that they weren’t and i felt like i should have been more tuned in to that.
It’s sad. I hope they try to make it work first.
My neighbor has her ex husband back in the house. Nothing romantic at all.
She would be all for that, i doubt he will. Most recently he said something like “it’s not like i’m going to change the locks while you are gone...” well that got her attention. Obv the fact he verbalized it means the thought crossed his mind, so she needs to protect herself. She needs to get her ducks lined up and a barracuda divorce atty on her side for the eventuality. Their finances have never been merged and he’s a very mercenary SOB.
neighbor’s and husband can’t make it financially apart?
Normally, I’d make a crude guy joke, but....she’s lucky to have you as a friend....hopefully now that she’s opened up to you, your grace will help her through this.
amen that
I don’t know the details. He wasn’t here when we moved in, but about 5 years ago he came back. Apparently he has lung cancer now and won’t be around much longer.
She will be fine. It will be painful and we will no doubt bawl about it at some point. but she is a stoic eastern european and very self sufficient.
well sounds like she’s taking him in to care for him in his last days. that’s laudable.
