Our ancestors won our Freedom over two centuries ago. Now, our government is undoing their efforts day by day, bit by bit.

The USS Cowpens (CG63) is a Ticonderoga class frigate, and the second Navy ship to bear that illustrious name. The first was an escort carrier that saw service in t he Pacific in WW II. She was nicknamed "The Mighty Moo.." (G)
Take a moment and read about the ship's coat of arms and motto. Many of the items depicted reference the Battle of Cowpens.

I didn’t know much about the Battles of Cowpens and King’s Mountain, other than I had kinfolk who fought at these two Battles.
