Your paradigm problem is false.
Human nuclear furnaces have control rods and fancy gear to make damn sure they don't heat up or cool off randomly.
And our solid fuel nuclear plants aren't bubbling pools of hot gas with random mixing of fuels going on.
There's no reason to think that a natural thermonuclear reaction in a huge hot bubbling bubble of gas wouldn't heat up and cool off a bit from time to time.

Gosh, you’re right. I remember when they got rid of red dye. My Mom went out before it occurred and purchased about forty tubes of red lipstick. After she passed, I had to explain to my much younger sister-in-laws about it.. we discovered about 20 unopened tubes of it when we were cleaning out the house. The list of what is going to kill us is essentially endless, isn’t it?
I remember it well. There was an article in Popular Science about ideas for combating Global Cooling and the next ice age. The were offering ideas like spraying the poles with black paint applied from C-130s.
The winters of 1977-78 and 78-79 were exceptional in Oklahoma for the amount and duration of snow and ice. I also remember quite a bit of sledding in the 60s that just went away for many years.
And so it goes.
Actually the red coloring in most lipsticks is lead based.
That's what our HS science teacher told us. If it knocks down our 100+ Texas summers, then bring it on.
And I thought my posts were pretty much ignored.
Well. if this summer isn’t 100 degrees for 8 months here in Louisiana, then I-for one- will celebrate. Using the current logic, heat produces cold, we should have snow in August instead of hurricanes, right? Bring on global cooling, and let it begin at the equator!

Can I start burning leaves and yard waste again?
Translation: I was in high school when The Honeymooners debuted on TV.
They also claim that the galaxies are speeding away from each other at an increasing speed, and that something akin to "the force" is propelling them. They can't detect or measure 'dark energy' or 'dark matter', but they'll bet your paycheck that they're really really real.
I'm getting to the point where I just ignore everything out of any alleged scientist's mouth until they show incontrovertible proof of their theories.
Time to invest in long underwear stocks.

For many years, I have been saying, “Enjoy global warming while we have it, for sooner or later, the ice ages return,” but I was hoping it would be later rather than sooner.
Thats the funny thing about this life... nobody gets out of it alive. .
