If Bastardi’s thinking is right, it could be downright frigid.
When we had the SB in Indy, we lucked out the whole week was quite warm with no snow. Of course the game was played inside anyway. One thing I learned is that you get a lot of people who aren’t attending the game (normal folks who can’t afford 4 digit ticket prices) visiting the preliminary days. Although I still don’t think all the money that was spent by the city had much if any payback. It’s largely a corporate and govt “feel good” kind of thing.
