First lady Michelle Obama says in the years ahead, she’ll spend more and more of her time trying to get “underserved” young people into college.
Speaking at the White House on Thursday, she told a gathering of college administrators they must do more to encourage poor kids to enroll in their schools—an effort that will benefit the schools as well:
So believe me, these will be some of the best alumni you could possibly ask for, because after everything these kids will have overcome to get into college and get through college, believe me, they will have all the skills they need to run our businesses and our labs and to teach in our classrooms and to lead our communities.Just look at me…and the countless success stories from the organizations and schools represented here in this room. That’s how we will win—this country. We will win by tapping the full potential of all of our young people, so that we can grow our economy and move this country forward. …

Maybe they should build more prison cells and serve them right!
Will the government force businesses to hire these college students or face retaliation by the IRS and SEC? Will businesses be prevented from firing under-performing employees because of their race, regardless of their qualifications for the job?

Her college experience was soooooo much different from every other freshman, don’t you know? Me - Me - Me - Me!!!!
What man would dare to go to sleep at night with that in the same house?
If our high schools did a better job, colleges could be more selective.
MO must be a complete idiot! It took me one day to pick my courses, find my dorm and make some friends. They pass out maps of the campus like confetti on enrollment day and there are dozens of people around to answer questions.
To further compound the stupidity of her comment, her older brother had already been a student there for two years.
Maybe her brother was no help because he avoided her like the plague!?! Frankly I can't think of a place where there is more help available than a college campus. New students, older students, professors, student teachers, admin. staff, dorm staff, and on and on and on... hundreds of people all around nearly 24/7.
Unless of course you've got a humongous stick up your butt and can't stand the idea of asking whitey a question.
Liberals - always demanding someone else clean up their mess. They screw up disadvantaged families, the economy, jobs and impose high taxes on us all. More people would be able to go to college if it were not for liberal policies.
Mooch was in Princeton and wrote a dissertation on how mean and anti black Princeton was, how she hated her classmates.
This is one reason she was never proud of our country, she didn’t consider it her country.
Never mind that she isn’t and never was Princeton material, from what I understand if it wasn’t for affirmative action and tuition assistance a middle class poor student like her who didn’t belong in the Ivy League wouldn’t be going to a school far above not only her parents station, but far above her scholastic record. She was Schtupped by everyone just for quotas and diversity.
I have read excerpts of her writings about her college days and she wasn’t miss congeniality even when she was young.
This is a woman who had a $340,000k per year no show job for a Chicago hospital, still bitter she takes it out on us by taking million dollar vacations several times per year.
She never smiles always wears a sour puss.
Lower the damned requirements!
Fill these institutions with underqualified slackers!
Do it on funds stripped from the productive!

Sounds like a typical college freshman to me, but most are well informed as to what size sheets to buy. Poor pitiful Mooch. I can’t wait until these 2 have to go back to being peasants like the rest of us.
It must be very much embarrassing for the school and the rest of her class if what she now asks us to believe is true:
"I didn’t know how to pick the right classes or find the right buildings. I didn’t even bring the right size sheets for my dorm room bed."
