On the 41st anniversary of Roe v. Wade, CNN’s senior legal analyst smeared the entire pro-life movement in saying on Wednesday’s AC360 Later, “They want women to have no control over their own bodies.”
Jeff Toobin was referring to the Texas case where a hospital, claiming that it is following state law, has kept a brain-dead woman on life support against the family’s wishes in order to bring her unborn child to term. Toobin went on a rant against the law: [Video below the break. Audio here.]
“This is the logical extension of what the anti-abortion woman – movement wants. They want women to have no control over their own bodies. They want the Texas legislature to decide whether this woman has to carry this baby to term, even though she’s dead. It is a repulsive abrogation of women’s autonomy. This is an anti-woman law.” Toobin added later that Texas, as a “low-tax state, low-service state,” won’t care for the child:
“Can I also just raise one other point here is that this child clearly now, if it’s born, will suffer from horrendous financial – medical condition, which the Texas state has no interest in taking care of, because Texas is a low-tax state, low-service state. All they care about is forcing women to deliver babies that they don’t want, but they have no interest in taking care of those children once they are actually born. And I think that’s a relevant factor in this debate.”
Toobin wouldn’t give any evidence to back up his claim. Meanwhile, attorney Mark Geragos also chimed in that Texas is a “low-legislative IQ state.” Such is the liberal elitism that calls AC360 Later its home.

NAVARRO: I don’t agree with that. And the reason I don’t agree with that is because I lived in Florida through the Terri Schiavo case. And that became a very political case, with politicians, even on the federal level, weighing in and taking action. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I have not seen any political involvement as this case moves –

GERAGOS: We do know that! The very example Ana just gave was the abortion example, and that’s the only one that you jumped in to agree with.

NAVARRO: If I was pregnant with a baby that I thought might be able to survive and I was in this condition, I probably would want the baby to be able to survive.

By this logic - all drug laws are wrong, all prostitution laws are wrong and all nudity laws are wrong...
What CNN is really saying: A woman’s liberty is defined by the right to kill.
But they have control to not go to bars, or go bar hopping, partying.
DCNN is a low IQ network.

Abortion lovers just love murdering innocent children, yet they were the first to cry on TV about how we need gun control over Newtown..tell me abortion lovers, what is the difference between what Lanza did and what Planned Parenthood does every single day, the age?
A fetus is not a woman’s body. To claim that is to be anti-science.
No we want women to control their bodies and recognize having children is best done in a normal family. We don’t want women to suffer the anguish of aborting a child. Its a belief in God specifically Jesus that speaks in our hearts, liberals and obamma are ants to our souls and when they are the focus of our lives dreams, they are destructive. Please women fulfill yourselves with morality and Gods love to live a better life.
Actually Obamacare will remove freedom anyone has over their own body, once the State is in charge.
But they don’t want anyone to have control over anything else, especially the government.
I can’t wait until the male contraceptive pill is released.
Then women won’t need birth control or abortions anymore.
I do not know if this woman is actually dead (like Jahi McMath), or if she is severely brain damaged with no hope of recovery.
However, I know that in her situation, I would want my child to survive even if I couldn’t. Mothers instinctively want their children to live.
Pro-aborts are so fanatic about killing off children that I think they miss the fact that children are the way to guarantee one’s personal future beyond the time one has on this earth. Or maybe that’s why they love abortion so much... because they are filled with such self-loathing that they hate the thought of their genes surviving beyond themselves, and believe that everyone feels the same self-hate that they do.
I believe you are right. My personal opinion is, they wish ALL babies would get aborted. I remember Rush said abortion is the sacrament in the religion of radical feminism. If this is true, I am sure each feminist has different thoughts, but maybe they have hatred for men, and feel good when they kill male babies, being as the baby comes through sexual contact with a hated male. They do, however, kill off female babies too. It does seem to me, that radical feminists almost foam at the mouth, in their unholy enthusiasm for killing babies. It is beyond me.
If they had control over their own bodies, they wouldn’t be getting pregnant in the first place when they didn’t want to.
It’s not THEIR bodies I’m worried about. It’s that tiny body inside of them that they want to murder for the sake of “choice”.
Democrats don’t want anyone to have control over their own lives.
They had control of the initial situation. Their actions lead to another person being created. They do not have the right to destroy another person’s body.
If CNN says something, and there are no viewers there to hear it, did they really make a sound?
