Ironically, abortion is the only issue on which liberals think women deserve a choice.

Leigh Ann said that the “emptiness” she felt after her abortion soon developed into “anger and depression.” Later, when she gave birth to a child, she suffered from severe anxiety that someone or something would harm him, a fear she blames on her suppressed guilt over the abortion.

I have personally witnessed such anxiety expressed by someone who had several late-term abortions. After a separation of a few hours from her teenage daughter--her only living child--she started squealing "Oh, come here! You're still alive!" Yet she is still adamantly pro-abortion. This same person, when speaking of a friend who was clearly feeling post-abortive guilt, had nothing but contempt.

I think that women who have abortions for birth control repress the guilt. I think that the more adamantly pro-abortion they are, the more guilt they are trying to suppress. I've also known women who had abortions to save their lives--ectopic pregnancies--and while they express regret over their lost children, they don't act like they are consumed with repressed guilt. They are more emotionally stable.

I've heard it said that women who have miscarriages often experience deep,life long,sorrow over that event.If this is true of women who lose their baby through,if you will,an act of God,how much deeper must be the feelings when the woman did it deliberately.Of course,if the woman has no conscience she's probably not bothered in the least.
