Never heard of “freestyle skiing” before, but after watching this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QtHYl3ERw2A I’d say it is indeed an “extreme sport”

Sounds like she was just skiing next to her coach when she ran into something. Probably was looking at the coach instead of where she was going.
