Democratic fundraiser/actor Ben Affleck – and the next big-screen “Batman” – recently gave an interview to Playboy. His own bias against Republicans, he admits, prevents him from fully enjoying a Republican actor’s performance. “It’s … hard,” said Affleck, “to get people to suspend disbelief.”
Affleck said: “When I watch a guy I know is a big Republican, part of me thinks, I probably wouldn’t like this person if I met him, or we would have different opinions. That (bleep) fogs the mind when you should be paying attention and be swept into the illusion.”

So let me get this straight ... a guy that makes a very wealthy living off of pretending to be someone he isn’t can’t suspend reality long enough to watch an actor that might be a *gasp* conservative?

Returning Affleck’s sentiment will most certainly save me mucho dinero at the box office for the remainder of his overrated career.

Everything else in that movie was great. I was apprehensive about Michael Clarke Duncan playing the Kingpin, but he nailed it perfectly.
I only hope Marvel reboots it into another movie.
The only “illusion” here is that Ben Affleck would know good acting if he saw it... Hopefully, he has avoided all his own movies...
Absolutely. Since he's admittedly a hardcore lefty, how about taking Obama's income 'inequality' to heart. Perhaps Ben can right that injustice by giving away all of his income except for about $40K a year and move into an apartment.

Avengers - Mark Ruffalo (as Hulk)
It really ruins the complete enjoyment.
Ruffalo was recently quoted as wanting to do a stand-alone ‘Hulk’ movie with an ‘eco-friendly’ message. Maybe Hulk could bound around the country destroying all those evil ‘fracking’ facilities that Ruffalo hates with a passion.
I can totally relate. It's exceedingly hard to be swept into the illusion that Affleck is a real actor.
