Reader’s Digest version: a tablet/smartphone that will compete with desktops on speed and capability.
This is a pretty big deal.

I note the rumor is decidedly unspecific about a potential release date.

Why then, do we have to hire people that speak latin to translate to us in English what English can accomplish with no problem ?
AND ... the other foreign speakers will not allow you to speak to them until you learn the rudimentary foreign language.
The voir dire, your honor of the ipso intendo, conflicts absolutum (de facto) ... etc.
(Of COURSE I made that up ... I'm an American, I speak English ..... my uncle did not marry an insect !)

Just a few weeks ago, Qualcomm was saying we didn’t need 64-bit phone processors.
Oh well :)

They’re already doing some incredible stuff with ARM farms in datacenters. The 1 RU pizza box will be considered a “dish washer” in the very near future.

Still, the question is how much power the new processor will consume... Yep. I'd love a tablet that can make my desktop look sluggish but Mr. Desktop has a power cord to help him out. Also it can't melt holes in my polyester leisure suit when I hold it on my lap. That aside, yeah, Plants Vs Zombies ought to scream...

Qualcomm is the first customer of the new TSMC 20 nm chips and the production line is running now....who knows ....maybe this is what they are baking....
