Most of the time I can get by with a breechclout and a hair tie.

It’s 6:20 pm, 41.3 outside and the arrows are pointing to cloud with rain coming out. I don’t see rain outside.

It just hit 32F here. Not much coming down. I got about 30 gallons of rain water for the barrel.

Not saying I'm stir crazy yet, but I did hang an aluminum foil ball from a piece of para-cord for the catz to play with.

Male cat doesn't trust it. He won't play with it.

But he watches it.

Closely.

Because it might do something.....

You should plan your photo before you take it. Now, I know where your machete AND rifle is on your wall. Pretty kitties.

6:45 pm and still 41.3 with arrow pointing to rain - but it’s not raining.

It's a shotgun. And little kids know where that stuff is. But they don't touch it.

If I ran around removing weapons before I took a picture, I'd never get a picture taken. ;)

Back when engineer was here, I showed him my PINK rifle and thought he would never stop laughing. He did think it was nicely made (being a Ruger it would be).

I have 3 requests from important females for a pink rifle, should I become wealthy again.

Of course, if that happens, they will get them.

I have plastic cups and used plastic pots that other plants come in. When I see something new, I need to see how it works.

Being able to see the root system through a clear cup is neat.

Nasty ice all over things here in Central Missouri. I bought lespedeza and clover seed for the pastures. Need to get the seeder mounted on a tractor and spread that stuff while there’s some snow cover. Later this week looks pretty good for that.

The little 5 oz cups you use, are they plastic, or the wax coated paper ones? I've been using the wax coated paper ones. Am I using the wrong ones? They peel apart so easily when it's time to transplant.

Some more of my seedlings are up this morning under my grow lamp. Also, this morning it's finally in the mid thirties, but with no wind, it feels okay outside.

It’s tillacum (unless I have that wrong) who uses the clear plastic in order to see the root system. I’m using the same cups you are, 5 oz. paper cup.

“Some more of my seedlings are up this morning under my grow lamp.”

Good for them coming up. There is no activity in the Stevia seeds in a cup. I seem to remember it takes a while for them to wake up.

Today is midway between the winter solstice and vernal equinox for those that keep track of such things. Imbolc is the name of the day.

It is. When the boys & girls club kids come over, I’m going to make sure there are a few clear plastic containers with the roots showing, so they can see how plants grow.
I was amazed one year. An AG class was assigned the duty of clearing the Sr Center gardens. Two girls were handed a shovel and a hoe. Neither knew how to use them. They both moved the implements around the top of the garden, looking confused. So I took it upon myself to show them what they were supposed to do with the shovel and hoe. Amazing.

It’s 43.8 at ten after 12 noon.

I hate taking Yorkie to groomer - it’s only a block from my house but I have to get her there by 9 am and I’m usually having my first cup of coffee then. I hate morning whether it is spring, summer, fall, winter, or winter solstice and vernal equinox.

“They both moved the implements around the top of the garden, looking confused.”

Someone needs to develop a computer game that teaches them how to use common hand tools. Your report is troubling that a simple shovel and hoe stumps their intelligence.

I think the parents and teachers should show them the rudiments of survival, other than the government welfare.
