So...extroverts are assholes? Sounds overgeneralized. Oh well, I guess I’m not so upset at being called introverted anymore.

My experience with one particular extrovert, my ex-wife, is that her extrovert tendencies were overcompensation for huge insecurity issues. Then, a couple of fast talking guys stroked her insecure ego, she fell for it, and our marriage tanked.
My guess is, and I am not a psychiatrist, there can be a variety of issues that may feed extrovert behavior.
