Netanyahu by virtue of his office is the secular leader and defender of the Jewish people. While it is necessary for him to suffer fools like Kerry, he is a serious man. He will not ignore the threat of a bizarre theocratic Iranian dictatorship that is fond of making apocalytic threats and is seeking nuclear weapons. Nor will he apologize for establishing defensible borders. Every Jewish leader is haunted by the Holocaust. They especially remember that in the late 1920’s, German Jewish leaders had the power to deal with Hitler definitively but tragically did not. No Israeli leader ever again will knowingly remain passive against a serious threat.
