Yaks, now thats interesting. The things we get ourselves into, bought a couple of young bison bulls. Picked up some longhorn heifers last month, no telling what I’m fixing to get into.

Yep. Yaks are mean but probably not as much so as bison, and they don’t require more than 4 1/2 feet of good fence (fence higher than a big bull’s eyeballs with at least an extra strand or two). We like using Kiwi braces with some extra line posts. Buffalo...I wouldn’t know what to do with ‘em. ;-)

I appreciate Dusty Road posting that. Unfortunately, my sound has stopped working. Will bookmark this thread and get back to it as soon as I can fix it.

They can not see what caused the injuries to his face, chest, head and arms ?

Hint : large teeth and claw marks ?

How about tracks nearby ?

or hair, blood, etc. left behind ?

Must be chair sitters who never gets out of the office.

They don't want to leap to conclusions about what attacked him, however.....

DNA samples have been collected to match the lion if it is captured, according to a news release from the Riverside Sheriff’s Department.
