Yaks, now thats interesting. The things we get ourselves into, bought a couple of young bison bulls. Picked up some longhorn heifers last month, no telling what I’m fixing to get into.
Yep. Yaks are mean but probably not as much so as bison, and they don’t require more than 4 1/2 feet of good fence (fence higher than a big bull’s eyeballs with at least an extra strand or two). We like using Kiwi braces with some extra line posts. Buffalo...I wouldn’t know what to do with ‘em. ;-)
