Woman abducts her married boyfriend
Threatens to kill his family if he returns home
A woman police inspector forcibly entered her lover’s house in Kadawatha (Sri Lanka) on Tuesday night and abducted him.
The inspector assaulted her lover's wife and their 4-year-old child, ‘Lankadeepa’ reported.
According to a complaint filed by the wife, the woman IP of Kelaniya division has been having an affair with her husband for some time and the suspect, who had come in their house forcibly on Thursday night, had abducted her husband after beating them.
After conducting a search operation the police traced the abducted husband who confirmed his illicit affair with the woman IP.
According to the police, the man gave a statement saying he cannot go back to his family as the woman IP has threatened to kill them in case he returns home.
Police found out that the suspect is also married lady and she has been suspended from service pending inquiry.
