Boehner Killed Amnesty for 2014? Not A Chance - Insiders Say Amnesty Still On Track

John Boehner

by Brian Hayes | TopRight News

Big news on the immigration front today. If you haven't heard, House Speaker John Boehner killed amnesty for the year. The Drudge headline yelled the punchline: "BOEHNER DROPS AMNESTY".

Or did he?

Washington insiders say he did no such thing, and that the push for amnesty is still on track.

Here's what Boehner actually said:

This is an important issue in our country. It’s been kicked around forever, and it needs to be dealt with,” he said. But “frankly, one of the biggest obstacles we face is the one of trust. The American people, including many of our members, don’t trust that the reform we’re talking about will be implemented as it was intended to be. The president seems to change the health-care law on a whim, whenever he likes.”

So, you believe Boehner? He also says he won’t move without a majority of Pubbies voting Aye.

Okay, per your request I will attempt a “kind” literary critique of your post. But... my approach is idealogical, so I gather you’re simply asking what I think... and to be kind about it.

“Romneycare” Romney’s loss in 2012 for POTUS saved Rove from TV obscurity.
***Maybe so, maybe not. I don’t follow Rove. He’s a RINO.

Rove has more power and requests for TV face-time when the RINOs lose, and lose big.
***Rove represents what Libtards THINK is a conservative. But he aint a conservative. Palin is a REAL conservative. Rove is a FAUXconservative. Simple as that.

The reason is that most low information Republican voters do not understand that the dominant RINO Wing of the Republican Party has LOST every battle with the Commie Obamacrats from McCain’s defeat in 2008 until now, BECAUSE of the failed RINO Political Philosophy.
***I disagree. The reason why mainstream conservative America don’t understand this stuff is that they get their information from Free Media, from TV. It is the lowest access media available for most of America, and they don’t even know they’re being cowed.

IOW, as long as the low information Republican voters support the failed RINO Wing of the Republican Party, the Commie Obamacrats will continue to very easily “Fundamentally change the United States of America” into the Quasi-Communist Utopia that Obama, the Democrats, and the Leftstream Media want.
***Well, I find very little to disagree with here. My concern is that the bastion of conservatism, FRee Republic, seems to be following the same path as low information voters and GOPe. Why did JimRob endorse Romney, whom he VOWED not to support, whom he called a gun-grabbing, baby-killing statist? Because the GOP has more sway than conservatism, even with the founder of Free Republic.

We Republican Conservatives thus willfully tolerate our sorry RINO Congressional Leaders at our peril, and the peril of our Republic !
***The place to START is FREE REPUBLIC. And THEN with the nomination process. But we haven’t done that, have we?

From my homepage:

Here’s how I think primaries should be organized:

My suggestion is basically to hold the first primary in the state that has the highest percentage of GOP votes in the last election, the 2nd primary in the 2nd highest, and so on. 2 primaries a week for 25 weeks, with the last primaries being the suckup-to-the-democrats. And the democrats could easily have their primary schedule the same way, if they wanted.

This way, if a state is 60% republican, there is still incentive for them to get out the vote for 61% republican so they can bump up their state in the primary schedule.

Also: Rotate all the states (even the big ones) through an early schedule so that everyone gets access at some point to the front line.

OR

Let each state bid when they want their primary to take place. The earlier the primary, the fewer the delegates they control according to some logarithmic or steep curve formula.

Second thing is the order of the primaries should be determined by the percentage of republicans in the last vote. The higher the %pubbie, the sooner the state appears on the primary schedule, with a mix of big & little states and our staunchest republican states get to go FIRST. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1965735/posts?page=862#862

The Quasi-Democrat sub-wing of the Dominant RINO Wing have been conned into the believing that the only way to compete with the Liberal Democrats is to become more Liberal in the false hope of capturing part of the Liberal Democrat’s voter base. The result has been to expel the Conservative base from the Republican Party.
***Yup. CINOs are in charge. CINOs have infiltrated FR.

Boehner and McConnell have chosen to become Obamacrat RINOs, because they know that they will never be able to win any battles that Obama, Reid and Pelosi have designed,
IOW, “If you can’t beat them, join them.”
***But we CAN beat them. Easily. The Kennedy wing of the republican party is just a bunch of bedwetters.

Their RINO goal now is as follows: “ Get something done, because ‘The American People’ want us to get something done!”
***They’re desperately trying to push amnesty and a couple of other things in this interim time because Low Information Voters (LIVs) will FORGET. But the closer this gets to the 2014 midterm elections, the more LIVs remember that these AdamHenries were pushing for such things that send American jobs overseas and open borders bring those guys here and generate social issues that the elite don’t have to deal with.

I hope my responses were ‘kind’ as you requested.

Don’t have to believe Boehner to think that it won’t happen in this congress.

I can agree with that. I think Boehner got told to shove it at that retreat. But I’ll never trust the guy any farther than I can toss an anvil. We have to watch him every second, considering the fact he and Chinless in the Senate have declared war on the TEA Party.

Whew! Escaped with just a few nicks - - - thanks!

I agree strongly with your point on Primary voting.

By the time we get to vote here in TEXAS in the National POTUS Election, the Candidate field is so thinned out that I have to chose between 1.) voting by leaving the POTUS slot blank on the ballot I cast, or 2.) holding my nose and suppressing the urge to hurl.
