It took them this long to figure out a bullet to a substation transformer could cause a failure of the gear?
“Brilliant”!
How much did the study cost $80mil? “Brilliant”!
There was a case in AZ where someone took off all the nuts on the bolts holding the transmission tower legs to the tower foundation pads. They did many towers in a row.
They hoped for a strong wind to blow the towers over.
Not a shot fired! (Problem was found by inspection crew before anything happened.)
