How is what I said an attack? It's just a honest conclusion based upon your hundreds of posts on this subject over the years. Nothing to be ashamed about.
You could say the same thing about a 17 year old woman. In fact at that age, women are more mature physically, mentally and emotionally than men of the same age.
So I guess it would be okay if a 17 old "grown woman" in the military were having sex with a male instructor a "few years her senior."
No one here has attacked you, Geron. We may have pushed a few of your buttons and joked on you a bit, but it's what normal guys do in a conversation like this.
Mostly, we've disagreed with your ultra harsh stance on this incident. You think (and have said) that this young woman ought to pay the ultimate price for what she's done. Most of us think that's absurd, and have told you so.
We've also told you that we think your views on this subject are strange, which I believe is well within the forum guidelines. It's a normal part of debate, and one would think you've grown the hide to handle it after all your years on the forum.

But nobody here thinks she should be put to death... That’s crazy talk. That’s something the Taliban would do.
She’s a stupid kid who happens to be a teacher. She screwed up (no pun intended)...Kids do stupid things, be they seventeen or twenty seven. Nobody was hurt so far except herself.

I can only speak as one who was a 17 year old male a few decades ago. As I remember it, for a 17 year old guy, mentally and emotionally, it would have been like you were Carlton Fisk in Game 6 back in 75.

One of the boys was 15. Exactly when does it become a “hanging offense” to you? What if the boy were 12? 11? 10? This was an adult woman who must have some serious problems if she was having sex with teenage students of hers when she easily could have had any man her own age. She acted recklessly and stupidly.

All it takes is a DNA test and the father could be on the hook for 18 years of child support. The fact that he was under 18 at the time is not a factor.
