Michael Sam, the SEC’s Defensive Player of the Year and Missouri’s All-American defensive lineman, told ESPN’s Outside the Lines and The New York Times on Sunday that he is gay.

Sam is projected to be a mid-round pick in the 2014 NFL Draft after leading the SEC with 11.5 sacks and 19 tackles for a loss, but he’ll be happy playing for whatever team wants him.

Amazing - with the Olympics raging and the 76’s playing an evening game (no matter how badly), this was the one and only “sports” story covered on the Philly Channel 3(CBS) late local news cast tonight - PC has stolen even the sporting culture......

Millons of young boys in America watch NFL football, have a favorite NFL team and even idolize specific players by wearing their jerseys.

Having an openly gay NFL player in the NFL will only serve to further normalize deviant behavior and encourage other gay athletes in high school, college and the pros to come out of the closet.

This has to be stopped and they only way it can be stopped is for Christians to boycott not only the team that drafts Sam, but the entire NFL.

I just don’t believe he is homosexual.

It’s all for show.

As it stands, he may end up losing out on a potentially lucrative NFL career. How does pretending to be gay benefit him?

Man I sure hope the Seahawks don’t draft him. That would mess up the chemistry and brotherhood comradery in the locker room. Now they have to watch their back in the showers.

The Seahawks may very well select him. They will more than likely lose either Clemons and/or Bennett due to salary cap reasons and they have had recent, big time success taking players with some serious on and off field risks, especially in later rounds. They may see Sam taking the place of either of these players on the Defensive Line, should they opt to leave via free agency (Bennett) or get cut because they will not take a pay cut (Clemons).

Also, with the large sodomite population in Seattle/Western Washington, he is sure to be a big hit with their local population, you may even see his jersey worn by many of the homo residents in Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood, (Seattle's homo district for those not familiar with the Peoples Republic of Seattle).

The 49ers are considered to be the most “homophobic” team in football. The players said they didn’t want a gay player in the locker room.

From what I have read, gay players will be able to demand a premium and have tons of advertising money thrown at them.

Also, Pete Carroll is the most left wing coach in NFL history and thinks Bush planned 9/11 and everything thing else bad.

The question is how many are “coming out” as a publicity stunt? I’m willing to bet a fair amount.

I sometimes think all these gays coming out are just so they can advertise they're available to a large audience!

Why should we care whether people commit suicide or not? Shouldn’t people be allowed to do with their lives exactly what they want to?

The answer to this question, as well as why it matters whether two males try to act as if they are married, have basically to do with what man’s purpose in life is. Basic questions about the meaning of life have eluded modern man to his own peril. Technological man is a slave to his machines and so misses essential questions - again to his own peril. Do you not think there are consequences when man does not know who he is?
