TOPICS: Weather
KEYWORDS:
A high-school science teacher,(Mr. Foot), and a network of dedicated teenagers outperform the big boys when it comes to accurate storm forecasting in the Mid-Atlantic.

There’s been talk about a two-day shutdown for Maryland schools. Thursday and Friday. If the storm hits.
Monday is Presidents’ Day, and schools will be closed, anyway.

Monday is Presidents day? So I assume Obamas head will be larger than normal if that is possible?

I think Baraq mostly gets psyched for Kwanzaa and Ramadan.

Surely this cold and snow is a result of global warming and Republican policies. Perhaps King Obama should go to Atlanta and command the snow to stop.

I have 150 pounds of salt, a gassed up snowblower, and a whole house generator ready for power outages.
Now all I need it some bacon.

Bacon is bad for you.
I suggest you send it down to me and I will dispose of it in a safe fashion.

I share with the poor every time I pay taxes. That is all they get from me.

Oh, I asked because in my trailer park during a power outage, you see orange extension cords all over the place, crossing streets and lots like spaghetti, from Generac 4000s and such. Is a fire department's and electrician's nightmare, but all gets sorted out in the end and people can heat their bacon sandwiches. run-on sentences are kool.

They have it tracked a tad too far to the SE, but otherwise believable.
It's a balmy -8° currently .. NWS has a storm watch out for my neck of the woods (midPA) for up to 8" 'tween tonight and tomorrow night.
