In answer to the title question, no. You haven’t been around long enough to have seen the phrase “concern troll”, I suppose, but if some of these comments seem a bit sharp, that phrase is probably why. Answering your own thread is a plus. Another good alternative is a stout Faraday cage. Welcome to FR, I think.

Agree. Links to threads can be posted on Facebook, Twitter and elsewhere if you like them. Facebook is Facebook. I would be very unhappy if the format changed.

I think the site is laid out well. Many articles to read. Easy to post. Could just be a seasonal thing. Maybe too much politics. Those politicians are wearing everyone down!

Suggestion: Add separate entertainment and technology and science and car-truck forums.
