Looking at the circumstances it sounds way excessive (and also politically fueled and arbitrary) what was done to him, but the kind of polarization which will only tell one side of the story is not conducive to truth either. It is a sign of weakness, not strength, when we must oversimplify complex stories. Strength is only regained by reinvesting ourselves in the Lord.
