The Koch brothers, notorious for donating large sums of money to right-leaning political causes, might not be as influential as some may think.

Opensecrets.org recently compiled a list of the top “all-time donors” from 1989 to 2014 and the infamous duo not only fail to take the top slot, but even place in the top 10.

Considering this appears on/in The Blaze, it'll be dismissed as a Beck slam against libs and some radical right wingers (opensecrets)put it together to make people "think" the Koch boys are NOT evil. As we know they are. Why, they prefer free markets to socialism. How dare they.

Yeah, it was kinda 3rd hand info. From “Blaze” to “Washington Examiner” to “opensecrets”. I’m guessing the libs love it because it shows the “solidarity” of their cause and reveals how much the EVIL conservatives shell out.

Of the top 16 donors, 12 give mostly to Democrats and 4 spread it around a bit. Top donor (#17 overall) to Republicans is actually UPS (United Parcel Service).

Alinsky rule 13: “Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.”

The Koch brothers have been chosen by Obama as the evil face of the Republicans. The media has chosen to follow the talking points. The facts are irrelevant.

The media is not about truth, so don’t expect any from their malignant pens.

If you look at the list most of the top donors are unions and they are donating exclusively to democrats. The IRS is working on rules that would strictly limit the ability of 501(c)(4) tax-exempt organizations, including grassroots conservative political action committees, from engaging in voter registration drives, get-out-the-vote efforts, and certain other activities in the months leading up to federal, state, and local elections. Unions have no such restrictions. The IRS has become an arm of the Democratic Party.

Yup. But Citizens United is almost as evil as the Koch boys. Unions? What unions? i.e. “Look over there.” Madest thou look. So endeth the joke.
