Unless you are 85 years old or something, there's really no reason to have cabin fever in the winter time. No matter how cold it is, you can dress for it and once you get moving around, you will warm up and start wanting to shed layers.

Other than driving around in a car (which admittedly sucks to do in the snow), the winter is a great opportunity to get out there and breathe some clean, fresh air.

This is my favorite time to go walking on the woods. No mosquitoes and other bugs. No annoying bearded tourists are clogging up the trails with their L.L. Bean backpacks crammed with granola bars and dog-eared books containing Thoreau poetry - trying to find themselves in between trips to Starbucks. You can bring your dog out there and let it run around without a lease without some yuppie getting scared and threatening to sue you if you don't get it on a lease. You might even run across some deer tracks.

Winter is not so bad if you have the right attitude.

Oh, I believe that Cabin Fever exists. I feel it every winter when I can't get out. So I comiserate with everyone who suffers from it.

But you are right, your attitude means a lot for how you deal with it. And thinking that you have cabin fever because of Global Warming only makes it worse. It is the wrong attitude; only making it worse.

Remembering your many blessings, counting them one by one is good! Being thankful for your family and your friends (especially on the phone) is good! Being thankful for the air you breath, the water you drink, and the food you get to eat is good!

What got me so torqued off, is this diaper mentality society that can't deal without subscribing to socialism (which is the goal of all this Climate stuff) or communism even worse.

The assertion will soon be that there would be no cold winter or no hot summers if we submit and drink the Cool-Aid. That there would be no hurricanes or typhoons if we just give up our freedoms. That there would be peace on earth, if we give in to communism.

And just who is going there? Our mainstream press and Progressive Politicians - they are leading us straight into socialism with communism not far behind.

2.get people to cry “ we have to do something”

3.then government has the green light to do something , which is grow government power and size, take away our freedoms, increase taxes, advance socialism

they already banned lightbulbs and are phasing them out. many other things government has done to limit our freedom of choice. and the idiot democrats voters believe that the government saviors are saving the planet from global warming and the evil capitalist companies. what they are doing is enslaving us and taking away freedom and liberty
