On Wednesday, February 19th, 2014 at 10 a.m., Medal of Honor Recipients Colonel Bruce Crandall, Staff Sergeant Salvatore Giunta and Sergeant First Class Leroy Petry will share their stories about mentorship – Who is the hero’s hero?

The Medal of Honor is the United States of America's highest military honor, awarded for personal acts of valor above and beyond the call of duty. Following the lecture, Colonel Crandall, Staff Sergeant Giunta and Sergeant First Class Petry will all sign copies of Medal of Honor: Portraits of Valor Beyond the Call of Duty.

If this is an example of today's Army National Guard personnel then I would be afraid that the troops would not hesitate to fire on civilians, when they even have no respect for their dead.

Wisconsin Guard member suspended for posting offensive casket photo

A Wisconsin National Guard member who posted a picture showing soldiers goofing off while surrounding a casket during training for funeral honors details has been indefinitely suspended from the program that handles military funerals in Wisconsin.
