Blessed with children as well as a career outside the home, working mums may seem to have it all.
But actually they suffer a double guilt burdenthat they are bad mothers because they work and bad employees because they have a family, a study shows.
Researchers found that working mothers agonized more about their job outside the office than fathers and had more negative thoughts about their family while at work.
Both parents think about their families, but only for mothers is this type of thought associated with increased stress and negative emotions.

It’s funny we never had all of these problems until the commie ‘RATS and their Muzzie pals took over. I liked hard work, capitalism and being able to keep your money better than this commie crap we’ve got now. Having to work to pay somebody else’s medical bills really sucks.
Just saying.
What has changed is more than what is described.
China now out-exports America.
We need JOBS in America. Now.
Well...go start a business and hire some people!
Sounds like they have a poor attitude.
They guilt each other. What do you think Martha Stewart is all about? She represent a whole industry of guilting, women guilting women to control them and keep them in lockstep, to make them dependent upon the Sisterhood. They have to be relied upon to carry out the Democrat agenda, to vote for Hillary, to act totalitarian, to hate men, and to attack freedom in the name of peace. It's a lot of work to keep all these cats aligned! Thank God for antidepressants and alcohol!
Helloooo, we did not! Or at least, most of us didn't. Some noisy feminists did, but to this day most women would rather stay home and take care of children, husband, and home. As a working mother I did feel guilty about giving my job short shrift, but food isn't free and I had to do something to buy it.
of course women want to be both the ones with power in the workplace and be the victim at the same time. no, we do jobs better than men. but oh we suffer more too because of crushing guilt. please.
i think if people just did what their consciences said, most people would be far happier and fulfilled.
they wanted it this way, it was sold to them and they bought it.
they expect us to feel guilty for them feeling guilty. somehow it will come back to mens’ faults. they’ve pushed more and more men out of the workplace and hate those guys for not having work or being underemployed, but want those same guys to feel sorry for them for having to work.
man there’s just no way a man isn’t blamed for something going wrong in womens’ lives.
when we didn’t want them working they bitched about paternalism and being kept barefoot and pregnant. now that they work and the economy’s kicked a lot of men out, they have no respect for those men and want men to feelsorry for them because they work. we’re screwed no matter what.
The biggest problem arose when women accepted the view that many men have of looking down at keeping house. Running a clean efficient household while teaching and supervising one’s own children is a full-time job.
It is a most difficult job, but it is much better for domestic tranquility and for the health of the children than paying some stranger to do it.
Our society has in the last 40 years has denigrated the work of the full-time mother and housekeeper, and society has suffered for it.
