Mum and husband were arrested after burying the boy in a remote place

An Arab woman and her new Saudi husband buried her eight-year-old son alive in a remote place in Saudi Arabia after they thought the child was dead when he fainted, a newspaper in the Gulf Kingdom reported on Thursday.

The woman, who is staying illegally in Saudi Arabia, was on a picnic with her 35-year-old husband and her son from a previous husband outside the Western town of Makkah when the boy fainted apparently because of exhaustion, Sada daily said.

“They thought the boy was dead so they dug a pit in the sand and buried him at night before going back home,” the paper said, quoting police.

“But a man who happened to be in the area waited for them to leave and went to the grave after he became suspicious about the way they buried the boy…when he unearthed the boy, he found that he was alive.”

The paper said the boy’s mother and her husband, identified only as HSK, were arrested while the child, who was in a good condition, had been checked by doctors before he was handed over to a social centre.

Looks like I’m “it.” Note to self, don’t pass out in Saudi Arabia.

Let’s not be too harsh... These folks are not that smart. It’s the inbreeding.

Surely, you don’t mean to suggest that stepdad wanted to get rid of this inconvenient reminder of his wife’s past, cruelly forced his vulnerable illegal alien wife to go along, buried the boy alive on purpose in the dead of night, and the witness/savior could see this was happening but was afraid to confront the murderer...

Imam Chewbarkah says bury him in the boy’s grave, fainting optional.

I’m not sure that the other guy was a witness/savior. Maybe he was just a vulture looking to see what he might be able to steal off the body. Or, since it’s Islam, maybe he was going to do something worse to the boy’s ‘corpse’ and then realized the kid was still alive. There’s no bottom to the depravity of some muzzies so I don’t automatically ascribe good motives to their actions. Besides, it’s terribly creepy that he watched and didn’t intervene or at least call out so the step-dad would know that his actions had been seen.

When you devalue medicine thanks to an extreme interpretation of the Koran, this is what you get. This is why every Arab King has always had a Jew as their doctor. I personally knew a nice Jewish old man from Brooklyn who was the Sultan of Oman’s MD for years.

In the medical field it’s known as “Mother’s-boyfriend syndrome.”
