I was watching an interesting YouTube video with David Berlinski and he made a great point. When the survivors of the horrors of the 20th century pass into history and we’ve lost our viceral grip on the sorrow and loss of these events through these survivors and begin to study them historically like we would the Napoleonic wars will we evaluate the Holocaust as an anomaly not to be repeated?
