I recently noticed some clips of Yamato on YouTube, but haven't yet given it a serious look. At first glance, it does appear to be well-crafted.

Anotehr recent war movie Eternal Zero, seems to have impressed some of my Japanese friends. The trailers don't look too bad special effects-wise, either.

I recently noticed some clips of Yamato on YouTube, but haven't yet given it a serious look. At first glance, it does appear to be well-crafted. Watching it is a strange experience, both empathizing with the characters and rooting for the 'bad guys' at the same time.
