An Indiana woman's dying wish is to share her childlike fantasy with the world.

"It was meant to be. I feel like someone has a calling. That was my calling," said Parker, a resident of rural Atlanta, Indiana.
Parker, 62, has been fighting breast and ovarian cancer for 27 years. A collection of medicine on the dinner table shows that it's taken its toll. But medicine isn't all she's been collecting.

She passed away just a few days after the story ran.
Sorry for you loss, my prayers go with her. Good lord, 27 years she was fighting it, but take comfort in the fact that is was 27 years and not a year or two which has happened to so many people I know. Matter of fact a co-worker of mine just died of lung cancer last month. Diagnosed June of 2013 and dead in less than a year.
awww... RIP, Beverly... your story is touching...
My deepest sympathies on your loss. She served our Country and she fought this cancer thing for 27 years. WOW. What an amazing woman....just wow.
I hope everyone on this list is doing well.
