HOUSTON – Two suspects got a little more than they bargained for when they picked the wrong pizza place to hold up Thursday night at a northwest Harris County strip mall.
According to Harris County Sheriff’s deputies, two armed men entered the Domino’s Pizza in the 7800 block of Louetta around 11:45 p.m. and demanded cash from the employees.
What they did not know, was one of the employees, Glenn Shaft, is a part-time HCSO deputy with 25 years of experience. The deputy pulled out his own weapon and all three men began firing.

It is going to be awhile, but eventually armed robbers are going to learn that while robbery might be easier than working, it also has a lot higher mortality rate.
And a crafty lawyer, a liberal judge, soft on crime politicians, and sympathetic new media don’t matter for squat when you are bleeding out with bullet holes.

Domino’s has a no weapons policy. I know several people that deliver for them.
Well be interesting what they do about this LEO that works for them.

One of the suspects was so embarrassed he lost face.
Ha, who wants to be the guy who tells the police officer on the crew that he’s fired. Making that 30-minute delivery deadline will be a whole lot harder if they have to start doing the speed limit and obeying traffic laws ‘cuz a city cop is now in the rear view mirror the whole time.
Sounds like the right guy to take on Obamacare.
