This newborn did not want to leave his mother! When nurses tried to take him away to be washed, he clung to his mother’s face. As this video shows, the bond between mom and child is a precious one that should be treasured.

My Mother went to be with the Lord several years ago at age 86. Her family was everything to her. Her love for her parents and brothers and sisters was only equaled or maybe surpassed by her love for her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Every time I see the Marines motto, “Semper Fidelis” it makes me think of Mother. Always faithful. The best person I ever knew.
Why take it away at all, especially right then. Wrong, wrong, wrong.
