It’s a challenge today.
We can’t depend on much help from “world” any more to stand up for “good morals.”
Christians of older times would have taken this pretty much for granted. I think America got spoiled. Just because it had a fortuitous start in the gospel (the New World was a popular refuge for Christian denominations that had seen mistreatment in the Old World) didn’t mean that the gospel fire was going to live on untended.
The ideal situation is where Christian “straightdar” comes looking for “gays” to save.
